Hello,

Well I rebuilt the carb last night. Someone had given it a shot before I bought it. But they didn't get near the pump bypass jet. That was stuck!!! I did get it. The idle tube was clogged as well. I have an adjustible main jet, which I'm not all fired up about. Would anyone one know the default setting for that?

Now I'm onto the fuel pump. I'm a bit surprised to not find a kit for it. Seems like you need to just purchase a rebuild?

Regards,
Rich

Have you tried Then and Now.http://www.maritimedragracing.com/antique_auto_parts_cellar.htm They offer a large variety of kits and have been known to supply some pretty odd ones or custom make a kit if they don't have it.

Note: the Packard fuel pumps page is a special repro pump for certain early 30's models. Ordinary pump kits are on the regular pages.
