38 Super Eight Valve Cover(s)?

I've been told that a 38 Super Eight has a single, one-piece valve tappet cover the entire length of the engine. I thought the once-piece cover ended with the 10th series. I didn't find the 35-41 parts book particularly useful in clarifying.

Anyone have an answer handy?

Thanks Flackmaster. The mystery resolved itself today with a closer examination by the new owner. For reasons that escape understanding, a prior owner (the word "idiot" comes to mind) decided it would be an improvement to weld a single steel plate over both of the individual valve covers to make a one-piece assembly. One wonders what goes thru people's minds that do things like this.
