I've been told I can't get insurance on a car until I actually receive the car. I might have a friend transport a car for me and want to insure it while it's being transported. Do you guys know who might do that?

Try J.C. Taylor 1 888 antique, or their website. I've done that before; basically you need the car description and registration number.

I got insurance on my 1955 Clipper before it was actually in my possession so it would be covered during transport. I use Hagerty and have been most pleased with their service and premium costs.

Grundy will insure it before you get it and while it is under restoration.
American Collectors won't do that.
