Interior Chrome Screws

What is the best source, or most popular by fellow Packard fans, for chrome interior screws? I saw a few "kits" on e-Bay for mid-to-late 50s GM cars and they looked as if they would fit my Clipper Super, but they were pricey. I'm not about to pay $5.95 for something that doesn't weight very much. I ship lots of stuff on e-Bay and these screws can't weigh more than 8 oz. in a well packed box.

I think you're going to have to bite the bullet for the already put together assortments. I've looked at a few industrial sites I use for hardware and they sell by the box of individual sizes. The GM assortment should get you pretty close although there may be a few not covered.

If there is an Orchard Hardware near you they (at least out here) have a chrome screw section. I haven't really checked too carefully as to what exactly they have but it might be an option.

Not sure about Kanter but Max Merritt carries all the screws for an interior as a kit. I thought it reasonable at the time but do not recall the exact price.

Also Restoration Supply may have the screws you are looking for, and you may be able to buy single screws from them, instead of an entire pack.

all of those fasteners are available through the Au-Ve-co catalogue. They can tell you who your nearest distributor or retailer is. I have bought those by the box full, and the price is right.

We have a store locally and that is where I have bought some stainless steel bolts and nuts that I couldn't find at the local home stores...
