Anyone know where a 1954 air cleaner assembly can be found?

If you don't get a good lead for a Packard item check out some of the Buick places. There is a dented one on ebay now that is listed for a 56 Buick that I think is the same as Packard used -- or at least a Buick cleaner is one I found in a junkyard and used when I needed an air cleaner for my 54. It fit the carb but I did have to make a new support bar.

There were two air cleaners offered in 1954. An oil MESH air cleaner was standard on the Clippers with an oil BATH standard on the Packards but available as an option on the Clippers. I'm assuming you've already contacted the Big Two Packard parts houses without success. Then I'd recommend Bob's Packard Parts (717) 426-1446 and Packard Seattle Company (425) 334-7754. I've had great success sourcing kind of oddball parts from them over the years. Hope this helps in your search.
