Holy Smokes! My Packard was awarded a 1st place in it's class at this afternoon's Tucson Cops & Rodders 4th Annual show at Hi Corbett Field. The Packard took top spot in the 1949 to 1959 stock domestic class. It was awesome and there were 630 cars total attending. All day long people trickled by and I fielded compliments by the dozens. People do love Packards!
I even managed to help a few lost darlings that wandered by and looked startled. I think it was all the chrome and the polished stainless that made them temporarily speechless. Congratulations on your award, a just reward for all the time, effort, hard work, not to forget money you've put into the '55 400.
And of course being a Packard owner, and a gentleman one at that, you had to come to the rescue of those delightful young ladies. I would have to do the same myself if the opportunity offered. Great show and thanks for the pic's.

Congratulations on the win. Billy Emerson again from "Crazy 'Bout an Automobile" Said riding and loving just can't be beat, You and your woman in your own front seat. Now, she can play with your keys, shift the gears, Turn on your radio just loud enough to hear. Now, she can turn up the heat and flip on your fan, And then you start rolling just as fast as you can.
