I remember those things and actually believe they were even available in the not too distant past. As I recall, in the day there were characters other than kittens available. I seem to remember something along the lines of a Howdy Doody inspired character that put his arm up for the stop.

I must admit I really love these type of vintage car-gadgets advertisements. Some of the stuff is neat, not that I would ever use it.

Still trying to find official Packard/Dealer accessories for my car. Would still like to find a handheld Packard spot light/trouble light, and rear defroster accessory kit. Last Packard rear defroster I saw on eBay bid up past my meager budget quickly.

I think JC Whitney still sold those in the early 80s! Perhaps I need to retrofit a "Homer Simpson" that my kids have laying around in the same manner! lol What a hoot that would be.
