One of the guys who comes into the workshop recently brought in and gave to Wade the old newspaper clipping shown in the pic's below. He'd been taking up old linoleum flooring which often used newspaper as an underlay and noticed this advertisement for Packard golf shoes, designed in the States and made here in Oz under licence. From the golf ball advertisement on the rear of the shoe advertisement it would appear the time frame is circa 1951/52.
