I have owned an example of this sign also but I have not seen photos of one on a building either.

G'day Owen,
 to PackardInfo, but sorry I can't help with the request for info on your Packard sign. I note your comment "....I collect Packard stuff but no cars, yet!...." so, when you do purchase a Packard I invite you to then include it in the Packard Owner's Registry here on PackardInfo.
