I haven't tried it from home (dial-up), but it looks good from work (hi-speed).

One thing I've been wondering about "Recent Forum Activity" was if you could show just display the recent "thread" rather than every recent post to that thread. Presently, a lot of activity in one thread (several posts) will push many other threads off that list.

As you can see I moved a couple things around. I moved the "Recent Forum Activity" to the Left side of the page, and made the Recent Photos area display thumbnails on the right hand side.

Please give me some feedback on this. If this makes the page look too busy, or takes too long to load, then I can always switch it back.

Russ, I know a few folks have switched over to modern A/C systems that use Sanden compressors. But I am not sure if they have a "Packard ready" kit to make it easy or not.

But I will let those folks chime in as they can probably explain it better.

I have a '55 Patrician with factory A/C, I would like to covert to modern system with Sanden compressor, etc. Does anyone make a complete change over kit ? especially compressor mounting brackets, extra pulley, etc.

I also have '56 Carribean, non air car that I want to install same system.......can anyone help me ?

Thanks! I was pretty surprised how many Packards there are in Australia! You guys must have a really strong magnet or something. How long does it take to get your 41 thru all of those inspections?

Princessxtn,

Had a look at your Packard in the owner registry - looks very good for having survived so much. Loved the story and history - there should be more like that!! Also was impressed with link for valuation of cars, not that it will do much for me here in Australia but it will be helpful for many as a reference, thanks. Welcome aboard.

Well, I've not been looking aggressively for them recently, but the ones I have I got maybe 35 - 40 years ago. Send me your mailing address and someday when I have them out I'll try to remember to copy a few for you.
