People who have these have generally found and bought them at flea markets etc. over the years. I'm not aware of any central source. Most of mine are from the late 20s and early 30s -- was there a particular tool or jack from this era that you were interested in?

Wow I guess I just have bad luck then. I look through piles of literature at swap meets and I have never found one.
I wasn't really looking for anything in particular. I just wanted to collect them as I find them very interesting. I would be interested in copies of them though if you were up for it. Thanks again.

Well, I've not been looking aggressively for them recently, but the ones I have I got maybe 35 - 40 years ago. Send me your mailing address and someday when I have them out I'll try to remember to copy a few for you.

I received a bumper jack, stand and tire iron with my 48 Victoria Convertible. How can I tell whether or not they are original equipment for this vehicle? Are there any good photos or drawings I could examine that would allow me to make that determination?
Thanks in advance for any guidance you might be able to offer.

A bumper jack( I should say bummer jack because it didn't work) for a '48 just sold on E-bay for more than $300! I imagine that it was the real thing. There is another on there now that has noone interested yet they appear to be the same.

Since I am in the market for a jack to go with my '50 custom, I have been watching for one on Ebay and elsewhere. I can top your $300.00+ non-functioning jack:
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=120155339605 Of course, this one works! The jack currently on Ebay isn't the same (square upright as opposed to what I think should be a triangular one and a very different bumper hook that doesn't conform to the Packard bathtub bumper). I figure Packard provided well over 100,000 jacks to go with the '48-'50 models so I'll just keep on lookin' for one I can afford!

Try Kanters, or Tucson Packard. I belive they had a stock of correct jacks last time I checked. They wanted something like $100 for them.
