I suspect the color of the color chip has shifted. Doreen Yellow is a pale yellow. Egyptian is a putty color beige, much grayer.

The additives can undergo degradation, but slowly. Use it on your lawn mowers.

Junior dash plastic, senior steering wheel. I recall seeing a similar one (but a 41) in MI a few years ago

Commercial chassis often use a mix of Junior, Senior, and Henney-only parts. The gang here can help sort that out. The engine number is going to be an starting point to tell if it's a 356 or a 282

the running board delete means finding the stainless body trim (not same size as used on running boards) and the fender shields - choose your poison.

Everyone is saying do it because you want to and not to flip for a profit, and you can enjoy the rest

The 1562 shares some parts with 41-42 and with other series, including the more plentiful juniors. However, be careful of the "complete" part - trim pieces can be relatively hard to find and expensive. Price a complete taillight. The interior can be done authentically but the wool is not cheap. The advice of knowing what you want at the end is sound.

very interesting combination. The stitched door panels without stainless, the bright inserts in the door garnish, the bright trim over the window - all 8 deluxe.
The houndstooth seats I've normally seen only in the eight.

Roger, You have lightened my day. I look forward to a "historical reenactment"
