try Northwest Auto in Grand Rapids, MI - they have bins of old bumper bolts

there are a lot of differences between the 41-2 and 40. Look at the doors and rear. A think the "jackpot" would be a 40 6 cyl convt cpe

this was a very popular car by Packard standards, and therefore one of the easiest to find parts for today. The only real quirk I can think of is the relative difficulty of getting off the rear wheels (tight fit, need to let them drop all the way down)and brake drums (puller needed). I assume by now you get the dual latch hood and gas pedal operated starter

the part can be made by Martian fascists if their engineers and plant do a good job. Let's stick to the parts (my spare's are old Packard stock).

the retractable hardtop was being pushed by Karmann to the OEM's - I think that's where MB got it. The Karmann people were aware of the Skyliner.

another revolutionary feature in some 2012 cars is variable opening grille bars.

I saw the 2013 MKZ prototype at the Detroit show this winter - attractive car but I doubt if the roof will make production unchanged. We'll see if it's sufficently differentiated from the Fusion platform from which it's derived.

I suspect the color of the color chip has shifted. Doreen Yellow is a pale yellow. Egyptian is a putty color beige, much grayer.

The additives can undergo degradation, but slowly. Use it on your lawn mowers.

Junior dash plastic, senior steering wheel. I recall seeing a similar one (but a 41) in MI a few years ago

Commercial chassis often use a mix of Junior, Senior, and Henney-only parts. The gang here can help sort that out. The engine number is going to be an starting point to tell if it's a 356 or a 282
