Maybe if he throws what appears to be a convertible sitting next to the car into the deal it would be worth the price. I think he is confused in other areas too. The ebay heading says east coast but last time I looked L.A. was on the west coast. Maybe that 9K is for east coast buyers only.|

My experience is that the majority of Packard sellers think they are worth much more than actual market value. JMO.

I was looking at other Craigslist ads, yes, its Studebaker and I found this ad. Was this built when Packard and Stude combined? Doesn't this have a Packard engine and trans?

That would be all Stude.
The 1957 and 1958 "Packards" were pretty much rebadged Studebakers with just some trim differences. They used Stude engines and Trannys. Only some of the Hawks (1956?) used Packard running gear.
