If no one else chimes in and you can wait until I'm at my Oregon shop sometime in October, I can take a look and get come photos of how it was done on a 1940 110. They my not be identical but should be very similar and possibly even interchangeable.

There was a big change since 1938. Mine looks nothing like the photo of the 120.

On my '37, there was a cylindrical basket. It was held in place by a piece of wire with a semi-circle on one end. That end went in a slot, and the other end went through a hole. I'll try to find a picture on my old project blog later.

Can I purchase 1/8" spring steel to make this part? I'm also considering using a piece of all thread with lock nuts, it would be better than the factory part. Any thoughts? Bob
