I apologize if this has been asked before, I did a search and only came up with ways to disassemble and cut keys, but I could not find any information as to a source of key blanks. I am looking for a blank to fit the passenger door lock as well as one for the rumble seat handle.
The car has an aftermarket ignition assembly as well as trunk handle and those keys fit in to neither lock so it is a different blank.
Thanks for any leads as to a source.

Max Merrit has reproduced the Packard key blanks. They have the correct Packard name and Detroit, MI, on them, like the originals. They are silver colored as opposed to the original brass color.

They have them in both styles (Door/Ignition and Glovebox/Trunk)

I just bought a set from them at Hershey.

1928 through 1956 packards all used the same key way. If you don't care about appearance, just use any "B1" or Axxess 78 key at a hardware store. However the Axxess is too short for door locks integrated into their handles.

Thanks so much. Oh ya, glove box, forgot about that one! I have a request into Max Merritt and I will talk to my key cutter tomorrow about the B1 blanks. Great help people!

I've had keys made using whatever generic keys the local hardware store has, and they work just fine. The issue I found is that there are usually always "round" head keys. So it gets frustrating, constantly trying to use the wrong key.

If you get a repro set. You set the proper "Round" key for the Door/Ignition and the "Hex" key for the Glove Box/Trunk. Also, they are "Packard" scripted, so they look nice.
