Several sources give 385,501 as the starting engine number for the 1200-1201-1202 and 390,301 as the ending number.

OK, that's what I thought but when I look it up on here under model info I don't see that when reading about the engine numbers for 1935. Again, I'm probably missing it.

I don't know about what's on this site for motor numbers, never been there. I used an engine # listing derived from old Packard factory data, and it agrees with the starting number given in Motor's. There were 4 different motors in 1935, each with their own numbering scheme.

The heading on the model information page for 1935 isn't very helpful. Maybe some of the data was lost during the last migration to a different server provider. I use this as my source for all my questions regarding engine numbers. The PAC site (I'm assuming that's the "other" Packard site you mention) is also a very good source.

JD, your link is the best and matches with the PAC site, thanks!

Can anyone tell me the height of a 1935 Packard 1201 club sedan? I couldn't find that info anywhere.
Thanks!

70-3/4 inches for the 1401, I suspect the 1201 is the same. That data is in specifications section of the 1935 shop manual.
