Just getting the interior finished in our 1934 Packard v12 sedan and we cannot find the front seat trim top. It should be tin and covers the top material edges of the front seat. This is the topmost edge. Any help would be greatly appreciated .!!

Thanks
Jonny

G'day Jonny,

Sorry, can't help with the seat trim piece, but I invite you to include your '34 Twelve Sedan in the Packard Owner's Registry here on PackardInfo! A companion for your very nice '38 Super Eight Convertible Coupe already there.

Jonny, assuming the part you're asking about is the one I'm thinking of, it's not made of tin but of steel, and wood-grained. You might be able to expand your search a bit as I believe the same steel stamping (with different wood graining?) is used on the 4-door Eight and Super Eight closed cars (those w/0 a divider). A check of the parts books should confirm that.

You might be able to get one from Joe Barnes in Ramsey, NJ. Check your Packard Club directory for his contact info, he doesn't use email.

Thanks for the tips and I will add the 34 to the registry. Thats good to know that the metal piece is wood grained I was under the impression that it wouldve been covered in the same material as the seats.

I dont know how other to explain the part needed other than it covers the top edge of the front seats. Ill keep looking!

Thanks again for the tips!

Jonny

Also does anyone have a picture of the part installed? Or could someone take a photo for me?

Thanks,

Jonny
