Numbers from or a photo of the Henney body number plate would be helpful.

Mike, how about checking that last number again - seems like it's missing a digit. I suspect it should be 1490?L.
Engine# is correct for a 1941 "120" chassis and the thief-proof number also corresponds to 1941.

I'll be damed. There she is! This Henney disappeared some years back in Tucson after I photographed her with my 35mm camera on May 16, 1998 (didnt posses a digital camera then). I will scan and post pictures if there is an interest in seeing what I saw 15 years ago.
BTW.......this Henney was said to have buried a famous American way back when too. I WAS NEVER ABLE to verify however.

G'day Mike,
to PackardInfo. Originally I wasn't going to post but following Kevin AZ's comments feel I now should. Not that I have anything to add but to ask you to include your '41 Henney Hearse in the Packard Owner's Registry here on PackardInfo! Reason being after Kevin's comment I think it's important to record this Packard for posterity with the info you have on it and what Kevin can add. That way there'll be some record of it's existence and should it go into hibernation for another 15 years at least it will still be recorded in the Registry.

I still think there's something missing in that number. I think it might be 14190L,
1= "junior" 120 chassis 41 = year 90= 3-way hearse L = Leveldraulic bed (optional equipment)

For a quick snapshot.......take a peek at PAC's site and go to the photographs in the salvage yard area for 1941. I sent that photograph to Marshall Katz many years ago.
