I am involved with a restoration of a 1935 packard 1205 limousine. the person who started this project has passed away. we are completing the project for the family.
i have posted some pic on this web site of the currant progress.
my question is what comes out of the back of the frame to mount the bumper and trunk rack. i seem to be missing what ever that is, and am having a hard time finding pictures close enough showing the rear bumper mounting.
does anyone have photos showing the rear bumper mounting?

If I recall correctly, on my 1204 Club Sedan, conical steel castings bolted or riveted to the rear of the frame and stuck out through those two holes in the sheet metal. These are what mounted bumper and luggage/trunk rack.

That looks like what i need. about how long are they? as i do not think i have anything like that. unless the customer has sent it off to the chrome shop, but after all this time, you would think it would be back by now. he died over a year ago.
thanks

Craig - if you will private message me with your email address, I'll send a scan of a photo that gives a fair idea of what they look like

Craig,
for including the '35 in the Owner Registry. I didn't "harass" you at all for this, as some believe I'm prone to do, because I saw it wasn't your Packard.
So a BIG

EUREKA!!! I found a set of brackets for a reasonable price.
thanks all for you help on this. now all i need is the side mounts. and yes the fenders have wells, and a hole in the fender where they come up though. i have the covers and clamps for it. just can't find what the owner did with them.

I do no know where this car came from. I will post the serial number later, maybe that will help with some history.
the family who ones it might know. as the guy who bought this is now in packard heaven. so i cannot ask him. but maybe his wife will know. i will post what i find.
thanks all again.
