The starter relay on our 35 12 is borderline and really needs to be replaced. Could anybody point me in the direction of where I might be able to find a replacement?

thanks,

A.J.

Depending on the problem, these units are almost always repairable. If the problem is with the high current contact surfaces, the copper discs can be reversed to get new surfaces. If the problems are elsewhere, rebuilding by Jason at AER is one possible route that I can recommend. I'm not aware of a replacement that approximates the appearance of the OEM unit.

With Jason, be ready to be without your relay for 6 months, at least.

I've had good luck with Mike Leveillee of KM Lifestyle. Very pleasant, prompt and knowledgeable.

Hi Alsancle,

I'd echo Greenfield's endorsement of Mike at KM Lifestyles. I just had a new fuel sending unit Mfg'd there and they inadvertently supplied an Atwater Kent unit vs. a Stewart Warner, and they promptly made it right, quickly and efficiently at no charge. I would both deal with them again and recommend them. Chris.
