My charge light went on while driving. Went home and found gen output 6V. I did some looking and found the generator brushes are about 3/16 of an inch long ..... as viewed from the back of the generator. I want to order new brushes and bushings. Max M only has the brushes, Kanter I've not been able to use their drop down menu to choose PACKARD, menu goes down to Graham but won't go further, Sandy T, whole ebay website is down per their Tuscon Packard website. McMaster-car only lists brushes by H,L,Width w/o bushings. Any ideas where I can get all I need from one place? (Brushes, bushings/bearings which ever applies). Thanks.

How about giving Jason at AER a call. He's had parts for other generators and might be able to help.

Thanks HH, dummy me, I just sent and received back from Jason the vacuum advance for the above car.. It was repaired and all the metal was replated.....Looks brand new. Some times I'm not sure if the right hand knows what the left hand is doing. I need to check the left hand/right hand synchronicity...I'll give Jason a call in the am.

Probably no need to go any further than your nearest NAPA store. At least as of a year ago NAPA still had brushes and bushing kits for your AutoLite generator. Brushes were A430 and bushing 4347. Have them check those #s, they may have been superceded by now with newer #s.

OD, that was my first choice since I buy parts for 4 cars. Alas, generators, and parts are no longer available in store or on line.......so says Dave at the Vancouver, WA NAPA store.
Edit:
Thank you for supplying the part #'s, I'll go on line and check NAPA my self.

OD, thanks for the tip, NAPA shows the brushes A430 but not the correct rear bushing for the Autolite gen. Will get Jason at AER in the am. Thank you.

Steve,
Sorry I missed your call today. I have both the bushing and brushes in stock. Give me a shout tomorrow, I'd be happy to get them in the mail to you.
Thanks,
Jason
