All, I finally got the master cylinder apart. The back washer was corroded in place. Trouble is that I have one rubber washer that I am unsure of where it goes. The repair kit didn’t include a schematic. Please see the pictures below. It’s a flat rubber washer. I think it may go in first and the the spring. What day ye?

I believe the rubber washer is the seat or seal the check valve (1.004) presses against and goes in first.
