Any current recommendations on getting a water pump rebuilt? I have a spare that is bad and I'd like to get it redone so I have one on hand.

Arthur Gould has done quite a few pumps for members of the forum.arthurgouldrebuilders.parkerspackards.com

Terrill Machine Shop in DeLeon, TX is another who has done decent work in rebuilding pumps for a long time but I don't know their current status and they don't have a website.

I'm sure Arthur Gould will do a good job, but still check that the pulley flange is in the correct position to line up with your crank pulley and generator pulley. I got a rebuilt pump, and had to adjust the position with a puller to get everything to line up.
Here is a link to my blog where I went through that.

Looks like you already have it sent off to Arthur Gould…Just for reference for others, I had called Terrill Machine Shop a few months back. They told me that they do not rebuild water pumps that utilize a packing nut. They only rebuild more modern-type sealed units.
