Thirty years ago I started restoration on this convertible by fabricating and welding in a new floor. I did not have enough time then so put the car away until I recently retired when I started work again. My problem is that I do not have any idea were the two bolts on each side go that locate the plates that hold the lower ends of the roof hydraulic lift cylinders go exactly. Can anyone supply me measurements in relation to the rear of the door openings and the inner side of the rear quarter panels for these bolts please.

I've had Anderson Restoration restore my 49 2279-9. I sold my parts car to an individual that is also having them restore it. I knew it was dis-assembled and they could get measurements. Hope this helps.

Tim

Bill,

Good to hear things are progressing with the Convertible. Adding some pic's, from my visit back in March.
