Hey list members, About 20 years ago I attended a show at the Gilmore Museum in Hickory Corners and saw a stunning, newly restored 1955 Patrician, Emerald color, with a perfect, newly done interior with fabric by SMS in Oregon. I talked to the owner at length about the challenges of dealing with SMS and the car in general.
I was at the Experience show this past weekend and hoped to see that car there, but it wasn't there. I believe the owner was from southwestern Michigan or northern Illinois/Indiana. I checked the PAC membership roster, no '55 Patricians in that part of the world, at least ones that I don't already know.
Does anyone know this car or owner?

My collection doesn't go back that far. Does it list the owner's name/city?

I've got that issue somewhere in the archives, I can look for it this weekend if you want to take a look at it.

I remember this car well at the Asheville meet. It was stunning and a magnificently detailed restoration. That meet was special to me as I won a national second place for my 1955 Clipper Constellation. That car is currently on the Atlanta Craig's List for sale. Time has been very good to the car as you will see in the listing! My Patrician push buttons are continuing to work perfectly, you mechanical and musical genius!
