I know a lot of us have a very personal reason for owning/working/driving our cars.
I have done a photo etch on the vent window of my ride with the signature of the previous owner, of over 60 years, without whom this car would have likely not survived.
It is as simple as taking a digital photo of whatever you want or creating a graphic and having it photo engraved/etched onto the glass. It is unobtrusive and permanent display of your reason to be proud of your car.

I wonder if there would be an interest in having replacement glass date coded as the original glass was? I saved my original glass which I replaced and this is what the date code looked like on my 37 "120"

Bob - good idea, and shouldn't be hard to do. I could easily see myself doing something like that for my dad's '38 Super. He passed away a year and a half ago, while he and I were in the middle of trying to get the car back on the road. I think it would be a nice reminder.

David - Auto City Classics does date coding on replacement glass for a fee. Just give them the date you want and they'll put it on the glass and send it your way.

I used a firm in town that does trophy and wall plaques. I had first contacted a jewelry store but they did not do glass.

Another idea: etch "For Sale".
