Loose cormorant wings

What is the best way to tighten-up loose wings on my '51 cormorant hood ornament?

They are just a little loose, just enough that you can wiggle them. Do I try and hammer the wedge in tighter? Or perhaps squirt in some JB Weld? Other ideas?

Thanks.

(Forgive me if this was already covered somewhere. I did search, honest)

Taping the wedge tighter is the conventional way. When I went to tighten them on my old 48 Custom I lost the wedge and used a wooden golf tee with just a dap of epoxy. Thirty years later it's still quite snug.

Gene, try to get in contact with casey rog who has a cormorant of a 1951 300 with broken wing on his work bench waiting for a good idea. Look, it is spring and many bird species are polygamous and will mate with several partners ...

Take care, according to the driver's manual flightless Cormorants have a specific mating ritual.
