Bonjour,
Merci pour votre réponse. En fait il s'agit d'un switch positionné en butée de la tringlerie d'accélérateur coté démarreur. A priori 2 contacts secs 1 NO, 1 NC. Je ne sais pas si ce n'est pas lié au système Overdrive ? Merci

Guscha, thanks for the translation.
Patrick, I think you are asking about this switch. If so it is part of the optional Electromatic Clutch mechanism introduced with 1941 models. That device engages and disengages the clutch automatically. The accelerator switch is used to prevent automatic clutch operation in some instances unless the accelerator pedal is fully at the released position. There is a 1941 service letter Packard issued when the Electromatic Clutch option was first introduced. It has information on how the option works, describes the components, and has some information on how to make adjustments. More detailed repair information is available in a training manual. The first prewar 41 version is more complex mechanically and electrically than a slightly improved 42 version and postwar units were greatly improved and considerably simplified.
