There are 95 different kinds of cars you can drive. They include some Packards.

Have you tried the library? That way you get outside the house and get a little exercise....

I'm so glad none of these have the Bendix Treadle Vac or this topic would be filled with people asking how to change the programming to replace it with a modern Ford

Yes I have PatGreen. Been to many libraries.

People can do multiple things & have multiple interests. You should try it sometime if you aren't too busy kicking dirt on others.

I play some battlefield 2 a couple times a week...it's my time waster when i'm waiting on parts or in between service calls at work when i'm caught up.

I THOUGHT i saw a packard grille during one of the trailers for that game, i'm glad they made it in! I'm too cheap to buy a 360, but when they're dirt cheap 3 years from now i'll grab one and that game, it did look good.

I play BF2 every Wednesday with 5 other guys at my house in a LAN game. Dissapointed that BF3 won't have LAN or BOT support. Boo!!

We have been doing this every week for about 5+ years. We hardly miss a week.

If you like it go look up the free AIX and NAW mods. Google those. They both add alot to the game. Also I have hacked the game for my LAN buddies so that we have insane weapons that have infinite ammo....we play at 100% difficulty on that game. It required a lot of text editing in word pad, but its crazy fun.

Speaking of...... It's wednesday

Hank

I used to play the desert something mod for 1942 to add more realistic weapons and vehicles, but i haven't modded bf2. I love every edition, Vietnam was fantastic with the soundtrack and vehicles and terrain.

One thing they need more of, is gigantic maps in BF2/BF3 like they had in vietnam and bf1942. Some maps were huge!

I also hate the stupid "fog of war" distance limits in BF2. Like i wouldn't be able to see the ground 600 feet off the ground in a plane. And remove the damn flight ceiling!

I know nothing about the game but if it's supposed to be realistic, I can well imagine fog and flight ceiling limits.

We live thru it almost every winter on days when tule fog sets in. Can have layers several hundred feet high. Airports shut--even one of the Navy's master jet bases at Lemoore closes to flight operations. When you can't see past the hood ornament on the ground, I can imagine not seeing the ground from 600'.
