Bad news for us is summer is near end when the Summit Studebaker Packard show is held. It was this Saturday the weather was great. Nice turn out of Studebakers and Packards plus independents are welcomed. Thanks to Pacman Don lots of 57- 58 Clippers and Hawks. Packard info had at least 4 members present. One member who shall remane unnamed forgot his camera can't trust those guys who wear black and like trains.

Yes I expected to see Cortcomp there. BH did show and we had a chance to talk and share stories all day. When the shade quit on one side of the lot, we moved to the other. A very nice day. I am saving my camera pictures for an important project - not Packard related. I thought Al took more pics than that - at least show his brothers pickup truck. Pacman Don was there with his fleet. Missed Bob Gibbs.

Hank, hoping Randy forgives me for answering for him, that "jar" is the remote master cylinder reservoir.

Previously, it had been a miserable hot/humid summer, here - perhaps the worst in nearly 25 years. The last place I wanna be in weather like that is out on the blacktop. Between that and all the work backed up on me on the homefront, I spent very little time at car shows this year.

However, you couldn't have asked for nicer weather than we had for this event, and with plenty of shade available, I came for the duration. Had a good time chatting with Randy (first time I've seen him since last year) and the Brothers Kish. I also met up with some Studebaker friends from OH.

While there may not be very many Packards in attendance compared to some other events, being located right off the interstate in the Akron area, this event is an EZ drive for me. Hope I can someday get back to working on my own cars and show up there in a Packard.
