PO torch cut front brake drums to get rolling on trailer for delivery. So now I need new or good used front brake drums for this vehicle. And could use a 15" wheel with the clips for the hub cap for a spare tire in the truck. Any leads appreciated. Atlanta, GA area.

I do not have what you need but for someone who might, you will need to provide a car model or if you know it, the chassis number. Depending on the model, some brake drums were used thru 50 and others thru 54 so you are not necessarily limited to one year in your search. If not known, the first 4 digits of the vehicle number found on the cowl mounted patent plate will provide the information to determine the model and chassis.

I have an extra wheel, measure the center hole and let me know what it is. I carried this around in my 42'120 convertible for 25 years and then I found out it would not fit . and I have been told it fits Clipper series cars. I may have to find a couple of the clips as I removed the ones that were not rivited on

Free if you pay for shipping

I'll take the wheel. Very kind of you. If you find the clips, throw them in and I'll rivet them back on. It's only for a spare and the center hole is correct. I'll search my word documents for the model number for the Clipper as I researched those numbers when I first acquired the vehicle.
PM sent on the wheel to arrainge shipping.

From the Packard forum site: 2112 body is the Deluxe Clipper Eight Touring Sedan

I am resto modding this to a41 Clipper and marked as Ike's staff car at SHAEF Headquarters. Grill, hood, etc. will be replaced with 41 Clipper parts

For anyone with a parts car, the 2112 is the Deluxe "8" sedan on the 2111 chassis so the drums needed should be the same as those used on almost all the smaller Clippers and 48-50 models, the 51-52 200 and 250s, 53 base Clippers, and was also used on the 54 Clipper Deluxe.

Wat has parts. Lotsa parts. Wat even has a '41 Clipper parts car.

Bad news on the Clipper conversion: the '41 has a 127" WB and the '47 Deluxe is a 120". But if you change the grille and don't tell anybody, you can likely sneak it in.

Ike won't complain - he's dead.

If you're not having fun, maybe it's your own damned fault.

I'm about 95% certain that the Clipper in the photo is a 1942 model. But... even so, it's still probably on a 127" wheelbase.
