Your twin turbo 327/359 will differ somewhat from this, will it not? I'm really looking forward to seeing the T/T327/359 when it's up and running!

Interesting pic. You can really appreciate the custom body work. Was that second coil just a spare? It doesnt look hooked up to anything. I wish there was a better shot of front that shows the radiator, as that appears to be some find of custom setup.

Actually, I was thinking of doing the fuel injection using 4 two barrel carbs as throttle bodies. Gutted, of course, but I might place the injectors in there, instead of the intake itself. That way, I can keep everything electrical hidden from view.

Here is the only other "interior" shot I have found. The car may have had a tube chassis, but no one seems to know for certain. To me, from what I can see, it looks like a '53 Packard chassis and is steel rather than all aluminum, but with aluminum, doors, trunk and hood and some other parts. I don't think an all aluminum car would have floor mats. Interesting is the fact the steering column looks like it was chromed!

Thanks for posting this Mal! It does disappoint me that it says the car is 4" narrower than stock, as that's pretty hard to do. (and beyond my body skills) I can however, do the 4" section which I think will give the desired effect. I also am not quite sure about that 4" narrower part, as the dash looks to be identical to a stock Packard. It even has the radio block off plate, which is where I'd imagine the 4" would be removed from. I can guarantee you though that I won't be using 4 Strombergs on it, more like two 4 bbls.

And on further review, by looking at the last pic that Stuart posted, it looks to me like this is a HT, not a post car, which all 200's would have been in '52, if I'm not mistaken. BUT, it has the same rear window that both of my '53 Clippers had, and not the split three piece one that the Mayfair has. Must have been because of the custom bodywork. (Or it's just there to confuse the hell out of me!!)

Where do you plan on getting the intake manifold for those four carbs?
