The Clipper is up at my mother's house where I store all my crap. (I didn't grab the throwout bearing when I was under there, it's still stuck to the throwout fork.) Well, where I am storing all the large crap that I can't keep down here. I have about 3 pickup loads of car parts that I plan on bringing down here eventually, but I'm afraid my garage isn't up to the capacity.

BTW, your blog and your spring problems is what made me remember the spring when I pulled out the trans in the Clipper. I totally forgot it was there, and was trying for about 10 minutes to get it to come back towards the rear when I remembered your blog!! Thanks!

Barrie,

I can recommend the seller of this item, if that helps. I've bought a number of items from him and he is a good and prompt communicator.

Thanks to all you guys invaluable help I think I managed to get a replacement from a factory that only make springs - didnt know such a thing exists (where do springs come from haha!!)

Anyway her is a photo with the spring installed and I must say it makes a HUGE difference to the clutch operation. The clutch lever is much more acurate and thight and the pedal and adjustment is much better. It is not that difficult to replace when the bottom bellhousing cover is removed. Hope this picture helps someone who in future has to replace this spring.
