Gerd,
I think the wooden wheel is for a car, more specifically the Coupe next to the Caribbean. The truck wheels have massively thick spokes and relatively low section solid rubber tyres. The wooden wheel has much smaller spokes and, although the tyre is small section typical of the time, it is not solid rubber.

Just my but I have to believe that that Caribbean served as parts for another Caribbean that now lives or lived in Chicago. The disassembly as shown serves no other purpose IMO given the available photos.
