Ford began using SS in 1930. They called it "Rustless Steel".

Some of that is true. I don't think it was practical to use crates for floorboards, but they did use scraps for charcoal.
Edsel had some influence on the Model A as related to style, color, and comfort items. Ford always used quality materials in the cars. Henry was adamant about producing an affordable, dependable, and versatile everymans's car, with emphasis on rural folk. By the 1920s, others in the company realized that the rural demographic was shrinking and the city demographic was growing, and roads were improving dramatically along with rising general prosperity. Ford needed a more modern car than the T to appeal to a more urban, prosperous, and mobile America. For as long as he lived, Henry stuck with the basic Model T layout, with many improvements.

Leveled out some of the dents on the Aussy running board. Still need to do a bit more repair but it getting close. But I hit it with some primer for now so it doesn't flash rust.

My car information center is complete. Turn signal and parking brake indicators.
Made with LEDs and a piece of 18 gauge steel that replace the factory defroster delete plate. Now we will no longer drive with the non-cancelling turn signal on for 2 miles, nor will be wife drive 3 miles with the parking brake on. Simple and reversible.

Nice and while others might think it is not needed, the brake light is a great in your face reminder that even if you did release the brake the handle might not be all the way relaxed. Did you make some kind of switch bracket for the brake light or find something commercial that might work on other years with the same style pull handle?

Very nice addition that doesn’t alter the car at all! Well done. On the turn signals, I added them to my 1940 110 that were the self-cancelling type with a rubber wheel that was turned by the back of the wheel hub and worked quite well but maybe this type is no longer made. At the time (in the ‘60s) it was in stock at local auto parts stores. It had the indicator built-in.
Not a great photo but it is shown here after my car appeared in very dilapidated form on Facebook Marketplace still titled to me years after I had sold it. Attach file: 34366139-8225-4F17-9A20-6FB215090955.jpeg (33.16 KB)

Like this one but unless you find a good working switch on ebay probably not going to be found anywhere else. On the old friction wheel types if the wheel rubber is hard or chunks missing that might be a bit difficult to repair. There are several self cancelling electronic timer types and I would almost bet you could figure out a way to add one of the self cancel modules made for motorcycle turn signals to the switch Kev used.

This is the type of switch I used. It typically used in motorcycle applications. Perfect for hooking over the clevis in the brake cable where it connects to the handle.

This is the old passenger side hood louver. It could double as a strainer!
