Thanks for some of those part numbers guys. I had already been looking at the Rubber the Right Way site and what you gave me matched up with some of what I saw. Their prices are 50% less than Steel Rubber in some cases.
I guess what I was hoping for was a list of what is needed. For example, I know the door glass needs two channels (front and back), two sweeps, or dust covers (inside and out). Is there anything that goes across the top of the door glass? I already have the vent window seals but not the actual door seals yet and I have not even started looking at the rear windows.

Maybe just the "fuzzies" inside of the door/hardtop weather strip ie: flippers?

Believe Dads 56 is correct that front windows have only two fuzzy strips to seal against at the top. With the window up and door closed the chrome bar at top of glass is captured between both fuzzy strips. The rear edge of glass also carries the chrome strip but it has a lip on the outside. That lip slides along the curved fuzzy that is attached to the front edge of the quarter window. When the door starts to open the outer flipper piece tilts up to clear the window so door can open and when door closes it flips back down to push against the outer side of the chrome while the rear of glass pushes against the quarter window.

In theory... seems there's hardly a car out there where this works the way it should. Though disassembly and grease would probably fix things... Personally I think it's kind of a goofy feature as it doesn't make the car leak-proof in snow, yet the convertibles must not have came with it at all. IIRC most hardtops did not have such a mechanism.

Agreed. It is a fairly flimsy affair but it might have worked reasonably well in the showroom. Replacement springs are available and there is a plastic piece that slips over the little tab the vent window frame hits to close the flipper. The plastic is frequently broken. The tab could also possibly bend over time but replacing that plastic piece maybe with NOS or even one a bit thicker might help the closing. As I recall the tab is somewhat brittle -- maybe spring steel -- so if it is bent not something you want to try to straighten much. You are correct though in that even new it probably did not seal very well.
Ford, Mid 50 Chevys or at least the 55 Chevy for sure and maybe other GM models also used the same or at least a very similar looking and working item. I think the main difference between the Chevy and Packard flippers is length.

I got the new seals in the vent windows. I used the head off of some pop rivets as a tube rivet to attach the smaller seal. The vent windows are laid aside for now.
Called Rubber the Right Way last week for a sample set so, waiting for that to arrive. If anyone else is interested in their sample kits. I have to call them and provide the part number for the items you want a sample of. I have 8 or 10 differest samples on the way. The kit is free but shipping if $6.

Also, pulled the steering wheel and started filling the cracks. I only feel a couple of the today. We will see how that goes after it cures in a couple of days.
