Thanks, JD and Mal. Anyone have any info on the push button turn signal switch on the 120C? Obviously a retrofit, but from where?

So I understand - the whiskers are the extension of the grille around the front fenders, right?

I restore the car, and the car restores me.

I don't like those whisker things. I think the car looks much better without them.

Hi

Those "whiskers" were all the rage in '42. Wonder who was peeking in whose styling studio when these were under development? After all, both were coming from Briggs...

Enough speculation about industrial espionage, more Contours and Teagues around the country.

you'd think on a 65k$ Eight all the lower stainless would be there

For $65k ... some woodgrain in lieu of paint would be nice.

Hi

Buyers at the $65K level considering a '48-'50 Packard are centered on restored convertibles and station sedans, one supposes this Eight sedan owner fails to recognize that.

Here are more reasonably-priced offerings.

Two '46 Clipper Eights:
First, looks good, a bit pricey:

Second, a major project, cheap (to start-costly later):

Two '47 Clippers,
First, a handsome Custom Super 7 passenger, looks great:

Second & third, a major projects, look solid:

'49 22nd Super Eight Deluxe, maroon, more reasonably priced:

'49 23nd Super Eight, project, stick shift, cheap:

Two '50 Eights:
A touring sedan, turquoise, bit pricey:

A club sedan, project, looks solid:
