The is clearly NOT a Packard. It is a Lincoln in Hemmings Motor News that puts to rest the myth that sidemounts disappeared in the 1930s:

The Lincoln Continental also looks to have been shortened a great deal. The faux sidemount would have worked better mounted to the trunk lid.
