As a teenager.
Tried of lifting the head. Not sure how to hook up to engine host. Plate or hook. It will need to move to rock head to loosen.. Once head is off pins then Jack it up.

Are you perhaps commenting on the narrow lining? What year is the Twelve?
Narrower lining for front left wheel would be correct for 1936 Eights, Super Eights, and Twelves, and earlier, due to the influence of the trunnion block on the mechanical brake linkage.

No. They gave me only 1/16 inch of lining. And its uneven. There should be about 3/16ths of usable lining. The original shoe. Packard Countersunk down to about or 1/16 of an inch. The linings are right..got them from max. Bad pic of org shoe..but it is worn down to about a 1/16th. Almost to top of rivit.

These are better.
Only thing I didn't like is they used the shoe as a guide to cut lining 5/16ths lining.
