Well for those coming out this way for the PI Meet, you will get to see a rare "green" Southern Calif. All the hills, mountains, and open spaces are as green as I have even seen. Enjoy it while it last as usually everything here that is not forced irrigated is usually brown. So this is my favorite time of the year. Moderate temps, cool at night, everthing green. Reminds me of summer in the UK.

BTW, T-Minus 5 days and counting.

Not having been to this swap meet, will parking be an issue?

The hotel has a pay parking lot. But a lot of people simply park across the street and walk across the no-traffic side street. On Sunday those businesses are closed so there is a lot of parking. The hotel is directly across from the Block at Orange. So there is lots of free "across the street" parking.

Also my suggestion is to get there when it opens. The early gets the worm you know. The Swapmeet opens at 8am.

Kevin, Kevin, Kevin - California does not turn "Brown", it turns "Golden" which is often mistaken for "Brown". As a former Californian I couldn't resist. Sounds like a great meet. Wish I were there. Take care - John

Golden is what it looks like by May. But by August....and no rain for 5 months it's just plain brown. lol

James,

Are you gents coming down for the entire meet, or just the Swapmeet? Either way I will keep a look out for you.

Perhaps we can gather all the PInfo folks in attendence for a group photo. Similar to what we have done at the Warren meet in previous years.
