I know but the point is that it makes some of these things very tempting, especially when they're nearby!

I may be mistakingly calling it the butterfly hood with chrome vents on each side.

Technically it's the left or right side Bonnet Louver Assembly.

I personally like the 160 version for design, plus it's what I've got, and it's shinier.

Thank you Chris, but I don't think that it or anything else would make me look good at my age and in my condition! That said, if it had working factory A/C and I had the space for it in my shop I would seriously consider it.

First, Craigslist starts charging for auto listing, then the virus decimates even more of the collector car postings, but we keep searching out what slim pickings appear.

A '53 Clipper Special, looks nice, a bit pricy:

A '39 Six two door coach, ambitious project:
detroit.craigslist.org/mcb/bar/d/warren-1938-packard/7127727089.html

A '58 sedan, engine and transmission out for rebuild, looks solid, offered for sale for a long time:

Judging from the hood ornament, the maroon car probably got a 160 nose after being smashed up in an accident.

Thanks Chris, not too hard a job jumping from adjacent region to region by city, encourages one to brush up one's geography knowledge.

vermont.craigslist.org/cto/d/windsor-packard-1941/7133434733.html

A forlorn '55 Patrician, cheap $695:

A '51 200 Deluxe, stick with OD, good project driver:
macon.craigslist.org/cto/d/macon-1951-packard-200/7134034919.html

A '49 Eight club sedan, can't tell if the seller meant the car is Solid not Sold, ads are taken down when sold. contact if interested:
huntsville.craigslist.org/cto/d/huntsvil ... 9-packard-sold-sold/7135504371.html

Thanks Gentlemen, remember to check back to my latest posting for the five days the edit is available, that's where I'll continue adding any further 'pickings' that seem worthy of attention. After that, I start a new one. Hope some of these cars find new owners, one never knows but hopes so if enough become aware they're available.

For that price, it looks like a great parts car for someone close enough to go get it themselves!

Question: did all '55 Patricians have torsion level, or was it still an option on even the top of the line Packards?

58L8134, thank you for the service you do for other folks on the forum by posting these links!!
