I thought it could be a good idea to bring the following document into the light of day, which can be found in Dave's (O_D) treasure chest:

Two ladies sitting at rear of first car is E roosevelt on the left side of car and either B truman rite side of car or MAYBE Trumans daughter. I don;t recognize the man directly in front of E Rosselvelt. Appears to be Navy????? I'm not familiar enuf with US Navy of that era to recognoze him. Maybe those of u that served during that time can take a good guess.

There are some letters to the editor, offering interesting information about this car, in the latest issue of the CCCA's Bulletin. It survived WW-II and is thought to be somewhere in Connecticut. The Dutch government is laying claim to it.

Yes, the buckets for the headlights are unusual in the front AND rear. European sealed beams may have been smaller, but the rear of the buckets themselves seem different.

A reader's letter recorded the car history. ![]() picture source: flickr.com Quote: Yes, the buckets for the headlights are unusual in the front AND rear. Randy, in terms of the rear ends we are probably confused by the shadow play of the flagstaff (picture attached). Attach file: ![]() ![]()
