Rusty:

I have been buying and selling wristwatches on eBay since 1999. I have had a couple of bad experiences, but fortunately they were only very minor. Some of my purchases and sales have been for more than $1,000. Sellers live and die by feedback. This guy is obviously clueless if he replied to you with a nasty-gram. What do they say about the customer?

It strikes me as ironic that he would state that if a prospective buyer has no feedback he shouldn't bother bidding. What does that say about the seller?

Folks should remember that there have been individuals who accumulated a lot of bad feedback who opened new accounts to cover their pasts. This might be one example of this.

You can make a lot of really neat things from the parts left over after you rebuild your engine ...

i have had three big problems with cars on ebay. fortunately i did not cause five hundred in cash. but took months to resolve.

I try to be respective , because he may very well be legitimate, but he is certainly not the sharpest hammer in the tool shed biz wise.

you guys are great. thanks for being a refuge of sanity and courtesy in a increasing less than human world.
hope to drive my 52 to virginia

That 53 Patrician should have a 4-barrel carburetor. I wonder what engine is in it? Personally, I love those 53 Patricians, the interiors are just grand.

Yes, the '55 in MI looks pretty nice but the description & photos are a bit wanting. Do you suppose he is a dealer or a collector?
We will be watching.

Those pics of the 55 400 look like they were taken in the same place as the dealer from St. Louis uses--I believe.

Your right, the rear plate says "Daniel Schmitt & Co Classic Cars".
