I have recently purchased a dismantled 526 sedan and will have many questions. First is the carb that I removed has a data plate stating it is a Carter model BB1A. Is this original for the 6cyl?
Also, how do I remove the wheel nut hub caps? Mine are pretty banged up.

No, it's incorrect. The correct carburetor should be a Detroit Lubricator.

By wheel nut caps you mean the threaded aluminum hub cap, if the internal hex is too abused, use a plumber's strap wrench.
