god help me , when i see old girls like this:
http://www.collectorcarads.com/Packard-200/43169 ( 200 deluxe) with some guy "restoring her" then selling .... I wish they would leave them alone. i know of another 200 deluxe, a 51 sitting in a field on the pear blossom highway that is a dog house. a really great dog house. four dogs! they love it and i love to see it when i drive to El Mirage. better as a dog house that a Tweekers Hatchet job. i am just saying

That rig is WAY overpriced. It's a shame.
I came across this one that I wish I had the space for. It is a 1953 Mayfair 2 dr. It's a shame, because for $1000, it is a bargain. If somebody has room, SAVE IT!! http://portland.craigslist.org/grg/cto/2707301287.html "1953 Packard Mayfair 2 dr hardtop with clear Washington title. This car is a candidate for restoration, rodding or being a parts donor. Would be a cool Sunday driver. Car is complete with some cancerous rust issues and is not running. Has many good hard to find parts. Complete air cleaner assembly, glass jar windshield washer unit, heater with good dash levers, radio, power steering, power antannae, good steering wheel and horn ring, straight 8 with auto transmission etc.Price lowered again, to $1000.00 or make me an offer.
