I'm glad that BigKev added this Modification Forum. It's great to see both sides of the hobby. I've always appreciated a good custom, and yours has a nice flow. keep the images coming.

P.S. Turbopackman, I'd also like to hear some of your tricks for squeezing more power out of the straight 8.

I for one applaud your effort and creativity. Anybody can critisize; few can take the lead and create. Your sense of style is moderate and refreshing to respect the Packard lines as a basis. Good luck with your project, and as has been said, keep up the postings.

Old Gold, Custom body builders have been around a very long time. You are doing a fine job of carrying on this art form. Keep sending those pictures as I am sure that this is going to be beautiful rolling art. I truly admire your ingenuity, skill and sense of style. I am sure if "Dutch" Darrin was on this forum he would agree with me.

Loooove it! You have taken a plain-jane 4-door Packard which most likely would never have been restored by a purist and are making it into a much better-looking car. Can't wait to see it finished. Great stuff. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for all the positive responses! My goal will to be to finish this in full paint, wearing close to original color. Aside from the obvious custom treatments, I want it to appear fairly stock looking.

Great modifications! The roofline & body lines are classic, and you've done it well.
