G'day lynn many cars,
 to PackardInfo. Sorry, I can't help with your request but someone will probably be along soon who can.And a request of my own. Can you please include your '39 Packard, and for that matter any other Packards you might have among the "many cars", in the Packard Owner's Registry here on PackardInfo?

Last time I checked, about a year ago, you could buy the special shoulder rivets from Bill Hirsch, Kanter and Max may have them as well. A special riveting tool isn't really necessary, you can do them quite nicely with hand tools.
