Hi all
I am looking for an early 1920s interior roof (Dome) light in good useable condition. Prefer NICKEL surround but will consider anything Packard. Bernie J e-mail <two_oldlags@optusnet.com.au>

Hi Bernie,
I have a 1929 645 sedan which is still original and it has the dome light shown for the "1929 senior car" in the pdf you attached. I have tried to get out and take a picture of mine to post for you but I have too many projects going on at the moment. Anyway, mine looks exactly like the one in the picture, including the opaque white glass. It is nickel plated, as is almost everything in the car interior, except for the hardware on the jump seats, which is chromed...can't explain that one. Hope this information helps. John Wogec

If you look at Bernie's Project Blog on the AACA Site you'll find the light situation has been resolved. Refer to Post #1354 on Page 55 and various other posts after that.

Hi
I am sorry not to have been back before this but I have a had a few balls in the air. Not the least the ENV preselect gearbox out of my 1934 Lagonda Rapier. Mal is correct, David McC has sent me a very suitable rim and glass and I have been able to modify the base from the light with the cracked glass to suit so it all under control. A big thank you to all who contributed. Bernie J.
