Wow!

Not all that bad in Buffalo. Had the new snow blower out twice for it. I probably wouldn't be so sanguine about if I hadn't bought the snow blower back in January after the first heavy snowfall.

Speaking of lake effect Upstate snow- I was up in Oswego, NY in the early 70's for a visit and they had five feet almost at once. I was driving my TR3B. Made for an interesting trip home.

Yes, it is a lot of snow, BUT it is nothing new for the NE area. I've seen bigger snowfalls and although I'm considered a senior citizen it just wasn't that long ago. It definitely is not of historic proportions.

And now of all times I prepare for travel to Boston. Looks like that I won't need swimm trunks.

I remember the 77/78 blast. minimum 4" a day for 7 days straight. in some places 24' drifts.
